Manizha's impressions

Manizha's impressions about School Uniform project with Taiwan and other countries.

Here comes June months and its time for exams and the end of all projects.
Here the creator of the blog Manizha Jumaeva wrote about her impressions about School Uniform Project with Taiwan

School Uniform

Hi I am Manizha Jumaeva. I wouldlike to share my feelings and impressions about SAchool Uniform project. Now it is the end of the project. The SUE Project was very interesting. We learned about each others school uniform. And the move interesting part was when we exchanged school uniform with Taiwan. We have Taiwanese school uniform now in our classroom. We are very thankthful to Kay and her students who exchange exchange parcel with us.

we 've Taiwanese bear by name Harika here. This bear is like little ambassador who learned about our culture and country. We wrote in her diary about all.And we'll send Harika this month to Taiwan and to have our bear Asalak back.We are eager to read Asalak's diary to learn more about Taiwan.

Another very great things for us great number of Video Conferences Via Elluminate program. It was the first time we participated in VC.First I felt a little scare,I didn't understand your accent well. When I talked to you I exited. But it's great to listen to new accent and learn new things and new words.First, it was alittle difficlut for i was shy and i was watching. I never talked via microphone to the globe. It is amazing to talk with students from other cuntries. Teachnology is great thing. Where we are and where are our SUE friends. WE become a dream team. In video conferences we danced, sang songs, talked about our national holidays.
In one word it was very great experience.
Unfortunalely we cant come to conference in July to show our school uniform . it is very sad.But i am soo happy that other SUE members will see face to face and share their experience. But we hope we will meet some day.

I want to express my thanks to our Ms Zebo and our team who worked hard over this project. And great thanks to Cindea who created such a great project.

wishing you all the best

My impression about our exchange project

Here we want to share impressions of oneof the members of yout leadership club Tohir Muminov.
It must be mentioned Tohir and some other Youth leadership club participated in global exchange project with Argentina. And the project will be over in June 6th and here what he thinks and what he learns from the project. Here below you can read his impressions.
Here is the blog where they participated http://internationalglobalexchange.blogspot.com

My impression about our exchange project
Hello I am Tohir a school boy from Tajikistan. I am in the 6th grade. Next year i will be in the seventh grade
I want to write a few words about my impression about our collaborative project with Argentina.
I did not know how to use Internet to improve my English. Thanks to this
Exchange project with Argentina. I learned about what is it Internet,
blog and email Now I have my account in gmail. It is soo Fantastic!! Now i have my own internet hurrah, and I can have many
friends from abroad.

What we learned about Argentina!

I learned about they live in Villa Alande. They have nice school I learn their culture, Murga dances, national holiday on May 25th.

We also shared about our country and town. we wrote them about our
names We tell them about emblems of Tajikistan. Our town, our
heroes, our school and many others. And they tell our too by internet

To talk with Argentines guys its very interesting. I wrote tham in that chat which was in the right corner of our blog. I told them about my family and their too.I never forget this my first project.

This Argentina site taugh me something new for me. before i didn’t know
anything about Internet. Now I know thanks to my teacher Zebo.

Learned Computer skills

I would like to express my thanks to senior students from Youth Leadership club, Rafael, Aziza, Manizha and Rano of our Ms Zebo who helped us a lot they showed us their works and as example they posted some of their works. They had digital stories about different topics and they taught us how to make digital stories from MOVIE MAKER program which is on all computers. It was very new for us. And we saw Digital cameras and learned how to take photos. And how to transfer photos from camera into computer it was new for us too, especially for me.
Now we can type well in Word .Before we could not type very well and typed very slowly. Now we familiar with keyboard very well. It was challenge for us some of us do not sit in front of computer. Computer subject is taught from the 8th grade. So We came to Internet Learning Center in school #1 where Ms Zebo works. She has youth leadership club there and only seniors come to that center. So we came there and learned a lot.
Now we are in that Youth leadership club too.
It is 21st century and it requires us to learn modern technologies and foreign languages. For us computer and Internet is still luxury and expensive.
But some parents try to buy to their children computer and hire English teachers to teach their children.
youth must know technology In a future it will help their lives. And now
my eyes is open deep and outlook deepen a little . I am very thankful to all my teacher that
they teach me.
Long Live Friendship and Peace!!!

Workshop in University

Learning English through folk tales

On the  3rd of May we  4 Young leaders from Youth Leadership club Nasredin, Aziza, Madina and me Manizha and Zebo Murodova headed to State University to Foreign languages department .The aim was to meet with freshmen students and  talk English to  inspire them to this language. We choose folk tales as the topic. We were very well prepared. Madina who is fond of drawing drew a beautiful poster about Folk tales and we prepared one Tajik folk tale and wrote each sentence of it in strips. Students shared their favorite folk tale from childhood.
Each sentence on the strip was in Tajik language. Students in team should translate them in 20 minutes.
Through folk tales they learned new words and learned word order in English sentences. Then folk tale was jumbled and they have to put the sentences in right order. Here they showed their team work skills and leadership as well. They all read the story.
Folk tales also helped them to learn a lesson from each tales.

Freshmen students now contributed a folk tale to our folk tale collection. And we will submit their translated folk tale in www.iearn.org/folktale  forum.

At the end Ms Zebo  Murodova shared with them with Folk tale books and Forum magazines. She recommended the future English teachers to read FORUM as she loves that magazine and learned a lot of things from there.

Now we have one more work of the students who love learn English. Young leaders inspired the freshman students not only to their leadership skills but to learning English more deeply.

Feedback from freshmen.
Thanks a lot for visiting us and it was really big day for us. We were first a little bit shy that school children will teach us something. Then we saw how it was friendly atmosphere and lesson was very interesting and we would like that you come more often to our university.
